Trauma Response

In 2008, Conflict Connections™, Inc. joined as an Associate of Cohen and Associates of Houston, TX to provide trauma response or Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) services in the workplace. These services are provided to businesses and their employees who have been affected by a trauma such as a sudden death in the work force, robbery, industrial accidents, shootings, suicide, natural disaster or even an unexpected layoff in the work force. These services are usually provided within a 72 hour time frame to address the acute stresses associated with an unexpected trauma. These services focus on addressing the incident, providing education on acute stress signs and signals, give stress management strategies for dealing with the trauma, and providing group and/or one-on-one support.
